The Woodsprite Menu

Pizza & Pizzette

Our standard dough is made from Gilchester organic stoneground flour, farmed & milled in Northumberland. Our pizzas have thin 12" bases, and our pizzetti (mini-pizzas) are about 6" diameter, with hunkier bases. We can also make "Roman-style" pizza & pizzette bases using spelt flour on prior request.

Standard toppings are homemade tomato sauce and a blend of Mozzarella and a local artisan cheese.

Other toppings:
            goat's cheese
            red pepper
            chorizo (cured)
            smoked salmon

Baked to order, and served with a drizzle of olive oil, a shower of fresh (homegrown) chopped herbs and a twist of fresh-ground black pepper

Pitta Bread

Made from 100% wholemeal stoneground flour from Little Salkeld, Cumbria.

           Grilled Mediterranean Vegetables with Houmus and/or Goat's Cheese
           Feta Cheese Salad

Sourdough Rounds
